Re: List of Nord Stage 4 known issues/bugs
Buongiorno a tutti.

Re: List of Nord Stage 4 known issues/bugs
Just purchased a stage 4 ha73 and was experiencing random clicks in sounds. Replaced all externals and the same. Sent back. Anyone else hearing this?

Re: List of Nord Stage 4 known issues/bugs
NUF member cavstef issue: Yamaha FC7 control pedal periodically jumping to 100%. The potential bug is posted HERE. I'd appreciate any comments on the problem being entered on that post.
Update: verified by zippo.

Re: List of Nord Stage 4 known issues/bugs
Hey everyone,
something that fell right into my eye coming from NS2 towards NS4 is the constant turned-on LED of rotary SLOW or FAST.
If you're playing a piano sound with no organ or no other layer routed towards the rotary, this seems odd. Was definitely different on the NS2.
Minor issue, but still. If I am playing piano only I am used to no LED on the left side at all.
What do you think?
already reported!

NS4 v0.98 Sound manager 7.70
Sound manager problem?
When I view Piano Preset Bank 1.01 Stage Grand, Sound manager tells me there is no piano in A or B. Should be White Grand.
There are more of these fails, check A28 Boxxx.

Re: List of Nord Stage 4 known issues/bugs
All, there are quite a few entries on the Google sheet NS4 Issues/Bugs List that don't include a date when the bug was reported to Clavia, and some bugs have not been confirmed by another NS4 owner. I would appreciate NS4 owners taking a look at the sheet to complete the entries. I just contacted Clavia (Nord) at Nord Support with a link to this post and the Google sheet that hopefully they will keep for future reference/resource.
Before posting a comment below, I would appreciate everyone reading my first post HERE. If you agree with an issue/bug or feature, enter your comment on the related post where it is discussed. Thank you!

ME TOO!Jo Osantos1 wrote:Am i the only only one missing the B3 Rotory balance between the Bass and Horn? I can't find this configuration..
and fact that you have to press "live-preset" button on organ section every time you change program, because you can't save that setting.

Re: List of Nord Stage 4 known issues/bugs
Logged these issues/requests with Clavia :
If you select a list of samples (shift-List) the font changes according to the number of characters.
It would be better and more legible to use the smaller font all the time.
This is particularly obvious with i.e. the SymphStr samples where the shorter names after that make 'SymphStr' longer than the one above.
I don't know if similar lists show the same behavior but this one caught my eye.
Can the Reverb dry/wet be functionally made equivalent to the delay dry/wet ?
With the delay the repeats 'ring out' as you turn the knob back to fully dry.
In case of reverb it cuts of the tail as you turn the knob to fully dry.
It would be very nice because than I can use the reverb in a similar way with a stab of a chord having reverb, turn it back and play further without (so much) reverb.
