NS4 bug? Notes cut off when layer is turned off

If notes are sustained for e.g. synth layer 1, one can turn turn off synth layer 1 but the notes will be sustained until the keys or pedal is released. This is indicated by the volume led strip for synth layer 1 which now shows a single led for the sustained level. However, this only seems to work for layer scene I (layer scene II turned off). When doing the same on layer scene II, the notes are immediately cut off, although the volume led strips indicates notes are still being sustained. When synth layer 1 is turned on again (without retriggering notes), the still sustained notes are audible again.

Interesting detail is that the behavior differs per section:

Organ layer scene I; not working, notes are cut off
Organ layer scene II; not working, notes are cut off

Piano layer scene I; working, notes are sustained
Piano layer scene II; working, notes are sustained

Synth layer scene I; working, notes are sustained
Synth layer scene II; not working, notes are cut off

Nord Stage 4 88 v1.4
OS v0.98

I'll add this to the NS4 bug topic but would appreciate if any can confirm these findings.

Hello, I tested this today and the problem relates to whether or not the instrument is present in both layers scenes. For any instrument, piano for example, if I have the piano enabled in layer scene 1 and not layer scene 2, the piano in layer scene 1 will not sustain if the piano is turned off. The piano will sustain if it's also enabled in layer scene 2. Similarly, if I have the piano enabled in layer scene 2 and not layer scene 1, the piano in layer scene 2 will not sustain if the piano is turned off. The piano will sustain if it's also enabled in layer scene 1. I'll submit it as a bug with the desire that the instrument sustain irrespective of whether it's enabled in the other scene. Take care.
