The Rhodes sounds in the stage are in need of a desperate overhaul.
I have to constantly EQ the rhodes sounds on gigs as they are very unbalanced volume wise across the keyboard. The lower and middle keys are quite loud, yet the volume drops dramatically once you get over an octave above middle C in the soloing region.
Come on NORD!

couldn't agree more. I tried using the compressor, but that turned into a nightmare rather quickly.

I have the Neo-Soul Suitecase library in a Motif XF8 that I use and it would be nice if Nord could work with Jamal to port that sample set over or perhaps they could license it from him. Either way, I'd love an new Rhodes sample set too.

I am sick of waiting. I'm going to spend my cash on a Kronos. Nord used to be the best, but they are falling behind now.

Nothing Clavia could have done with a Nord Stage and still called it that would have put it in the same class of device as the Kronos.

I have a Kronos and I don't think its the answer to be honest. Not a good Rhodes sound to be had in there for me... YMMV.
