Signed petition - Hoping Nord strikes a deal with Neo-Soul Keys, that's a decent Rhodes and Wurli library, made by cool guys who make music.

NS2 here. I think a properly sampled Suitcase would be good. Agreed that the NeoSoul libraries are the benchmark.

As we still have to wait... under his hands the "Bright Tines" sounds real great!

Signed.

NS2.
I like the bright tines its quite good but compared to the real thing it has a lack of diversity and power especially the higher range. Would love to upgrade to some fully mapped samples like the great pianos are.
Hopefully as the next chrismas gift?8-)

By the way: Patrick péronne just plays fabulous in this tune! Which reminds me once more that finally it is the player behind keys who makes the difference.

In addition I agree neo soul keys can be considered as a benchmark if it is considered as a competitor since it is softwarebased.
Since there is 200-500mb needed to implement nsk, thats not really suitable within NS2. I‘m shure clavia is able to do the job with less. Because they have done it 7-8 years ago with stunning results at those days.

The problem with getting a decent Rhodes is you've got to wait until the right one comes up. Getting the right one is a matter of right place, right time.

I was on the verge of getting a Neosoul keys thing, as it is really that good, however I don't want to be linking the nord up to other boxes. That was the whole point of the nord.

IF nord teamed up with neosoul keys, I'd give them £300 to have that inside my Stage.

I'm not bothered about the cost, I just want it to be right, which is something Nord are frustrating with.

Signed, a new Rhodes up to today's standards is long overdue. Like a nice mk I suitcase (recorded from the suitcase speaker) where the tines sing and gurgle... Mmmmm YUMMY! I want this.
