If the guys at Nord added everything we ask them, the Stage would be the equivalent to Homer's car.

I think there's nothing wrong with the Rhodes sound.

I bought a very crappy and plasticy midi controller keyboard, mainly for mucking around with 2 manual organ.
It has various velocity curves. It MAKES the clavinet. The nord clavinet sound just doesn't work with the velocity curve.

So, as the new fazioli grand is given to us as a christmas gift - can we hope now perhaps also for a new rhodes and wurlitzer sample???

Yes, the Harold Rhodes prototype piano will be along shortly, as well as the Dyno-my-piano "clunk" voice (which makes a Rhodes sound like a steel drum).
I bet you all a virtual pint we will not see another Rhodes of any sort before the end of summer.

Quite clearly, Nord have done their market research and the customers really want more acoustic pianos and more 80's Orgazmatron Monophonic Synths.
If I was a betting man, I would imagine that the next electric piano samples are going to be MASSIVE, to the point they'll only fit on a Stage 2EX in a decent amount (possibly updated with 2 pan modes, one being a suitcase pan, possibly got at through the shift key and settings). I'm not sure when the 2EX will come out, but my money is on the new electric pianos coming out a couple of weeks before and a few more after.
If they don't do that, I will be a monkey's uncle.
