Hi, the reason I was asking is because I have to combine two different WAV files into one to create a new sound. I thought it is possible in the sample editor to combine these two for the same keyboard range, but obviously not so the only way is to use a 3rd party wave editor to achieve this, and then create a sample from the new, combined WAV file. No problem, just one additional step. Thanks for the clarification

Yaaap, then go for Audacity or any otner audio workstation to mix them and generate new "combined" .wav

How do I say but bass wav file on lower half and strings on top half of keyboard using sample editor. I've hoe do I assign the different wave files and convert it to a single nsmp3 file?

same question for me, with Sample Editor, could I load a series of layer wav files per note? the reason I ask, I'm looking at creating pipe organ setups using particular stop lists as sample layers. Could this be done or would I need to merge wav files in Audacity, etc for a particular voice?

Not series of layers no but One already layered and mixed Wav file made in a DAW.
