Nord Lead 2 question

Post by dogstar2018 »

Hi all,

I'm new here and this is my first post. I recently bought a Nord Lead 2 but I'm a little confused about something and I was hoping that maybe some experienced Nord owners may be able to help me solve a problem I'm having. When I play the keys on the keyboard I get exactly the sound that I'm working on but if I record midi notation into Logic, the playback seems to also include another sound too - almost like a long continuous pad type note in the same key underneath. I can't quite work out what is going on and how to stop it from happening. I only have one instrument cable running from the Nord's Output A into my audio interface. Can anybody advise me?

You might be sending midi from Logic on the nord's global midi channel, which would make it play on all four parts?
