Stage 3 -three restarts during gig

Really weird, had to restart the nord stage three time during the gig today. I used the stage 3 as midicontroller for selecting an layering sounds connected to a yamaha montage. Suddenly the stage stpped changing sounds via midi on the montage, restarting the stage did the trick. Hope 1.28 fixes this problem which started to occur during the gig, never once had a problem at home.I was using live mode to get a piano quickly at occasions.

I had this exact thing happen a couple of times (1.22) as well. A reboot solved the problem. On 1.26 so far so good.

1.28 informations mention some midi updates. Perhaps you have a look at the release notes, whether your problem is fixed

Just returned tired from a gig yesterday and no harm, its always good to gig with two boards....have to put my stage 3 on ice though until its really gig friendly. The big issue was tha this didnt occur at home or at rehearsals, only after standing on stage for a long time waiting for the show to start.

One of the long standing bugs fixed in 1.28 might be behind this. The NS3 could start sending a continous stream of MIDI messages that 'clogged the channel' so to speak.

Well, the release notes for 1.28 explicitly state that sending program change from the external section was broken and has now been fixed, so...
