Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
So not sure if this has come up, but last night I switched on my NS3C and could not get the pitch stick to work with any program or any synth, even though the sections showed the pitch stick as active. I power cycled the keyboard and the problem went away. Strange, a bit unnerving.

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
I just sent a mail to the technical support.
I recently bought the Nord stage 3, and I have the Nord Stage 2 too.
But with the new one I have some problems.
With the old N.S.2 my setup was this one connected with a keyboard and an expander, the N.S.2 was able to pilot the two instruments without any problems.
I know about the Dual KB function
But in order to use a second keyboard I assigned to every six sections six differtents Midi Channels. I pushed Shift + the section I needed, the leds were turned off and the section played only on the external keyboard.
According to me the Dual KB function was not enough.
WIth tne N.S.3 this is not possible anymore.
I can only assign ONE midi channel to Panel A and another differnt one toPanel B, but not to the singular sections.
Another problem I have with the N.S.3 is that not being available anymore the ENCODER in the Extern section I can only go with the Volume Pedal from 0 to a
choosed Volume, but I cannot set a minimun Value. Sorry for my English, I hope you understood everything

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
Hi,
Problems, problems, problems with new NS3...
Newest: I took NS3 to a gig with Virus and connected them with trad. MIDI cables. NS3 MIDI out -> Virus In, Virus Midi Out -> NS3 In. Most of the time this setup worked, but I got at least 4-5 total MIDI crashes, some kind of overflow. I had to boot both units to survive. Quite horrible in the middle of the song, when sounds get stuck and only thing which helps is power them off and on again. Also I had a moments when NS3 stopped sending midi.
I have used this setup with my earlier NS2 + Virus and no problems in general (well, sometimes Virus can have a crash but not often). Also to note that I haven't have problems with NS3+Virus+other gear when I have used NS3 with USB-midi and iConnectivityMio4 (MIDI router and interface). So I believe these new problems were somehow related with trad. MIDI...
I did not see this in Bug Sheet, so is this happening just with my unit, or is it something which is reported by other users as well?

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
I set up the NS3 and NS2 side by side thru the same monitoring system and confirm (as have others) that the B3 organ chorale settings on the NS3 are lackluster and static by comparison. I hope this issue is on the "fix it list" for the next update.

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
I've had (on the older releases like 1.04) at least one instance of MIDI weirdness, where the NS3 would send out some weird MIDI messages but not related to what you play. I cannot remember right now if it was just a string of MTC timecodes, but it required a reboot to get it back to normal mode. I have not seen it since (I had a MIDI debugger on it at that time), but it sounds similar to what you experiencedEcaroh wrote: I did not see this in Bug Sheet, so is this happening just with my unit, or is it something which is reported by other users as well?

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
I have been using the Ocean Beach Digital drawbar module and it regularly crashes and won't work again until the NS3 is rebooted. Anyone else experiencing that? I sent in this problem via website.
