Hi!
Does anyone have a good patch for Let's Go Crazy by Prince? I've dialed in the intro but haven't really been able to do a good patch for the synth on the rest of the song.

That's gonna be tough without an Oberheim OB8 like Prince used... the oscillators sound way different from other synths. maybe someone has sampled it though.
EDIT: I think nordkeyboards.com sample library might have the OB-8. You could check there.

I'm using G2X Eighties_ste CLv4 for the intro and SynthPad2_ste CLv4 for the rest of the song. Works for me...

I have a sound that works well. I will try to get it uploaded this weekend for you. Basically a big layered '80s brass pad that crossfades to organ. A little bit of CP-70 piano in the background. Nothing too difficult, really.

I attached my sound for your enjoyment. The control pedal does a volume morph to switch between organ and synth/CP70 layer. One of the organ presets is mellow and works nicely for the intro if you're doing that part, while the other preset is good for the "are we gonna let the elevator..." part. The synth and CP layer works very well for the verse and also the bell-type melody.
