SPECIAL TIP for any touring artist who suffers pitch stick failure while on the road and is not in a position to fix it immediately:
if the bad pitch stick has your Stage or Lead model wigging out during live performance and making you look really bad, open it up and snip the four wires. It's an ugly short-term fix, but will get you through the rest of your road dates without embarrassing you further until you can get home to your local shop and order the part.

bending it off center during power-up might also fix it temporarily (hold until PITCH STICK ERROR is shown). Then it's disabled in SW.
