Program Save/Select

Post by newtonord »

I had an earlier question that was very helpfully answered. Thank you all. Now I'm almost ready to make my purchase of a new Nord Electro 5D 73 and I'm very excited. I have one more question regarding the program save/select feature. If I save a pre-set to the program A, B, C or D, will it save everything I do (i.e. splits and layers, effects, any transposing or octave shifting that's been done, etc.)? or will it simply save the sounds I've selected and maybe the EQing. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

A program contains ALL of the parameter settings associated with the program.

Note that the A/B/C/D applies to Setlist Mode, not program mode.

So as long as I'm using setlist mode, it will save everything. Thanks!

No, you always save all parameters to a program. The program is the core where the sounds and parameters are saved.
You can create a song using setlist mode and assign 4 different programs to A/B/C/D.
