Note that the global effects - reverb and compressor - are not routed to the outputs 3 and 4. Of course it depends on what are you playing - if you know it and want a dry sound, it's OK, but otherwise I'd advise you to use the first two outputs and experiment with these effects. I usually use a bit of both for everything, even for just piano - makes the sound more consistent at different level of dynamics.Lophophora wrote:Hi, I have a related question: I am using outputs 1&2 to my audio interface for recording and outputs 3&4 to my mixer/sound system for practicing/playing for fun. I would like to avoid having to change the settings every time I am switching activities. Is it possible?

Re: Outputs
Phase cancellation is definitely real.
As RedLeo said, it is a problem which may not often raise its head.
But when it does it can be worse than ugly, it can be fugly.

Hi CPerlow,
Did you buy a Nord Stage or a Nord Piano? Those are two different things. It will be best if you create a new post in the appropriate section of the forum identifying which of these two different models you have, rather than tacking your question onto the backside of a thread which may or may not be related to your issue/instrument.
Bless,
Pablo
