I was interested in hearing what people prefer to use for Electric Piano. Obviously I understand that different sounds would be used in different circumstances so please clarify in what circumstances you would use each one. e.g. something with bite, something melllow etc
I'm just exploring ideas
Thanks

Cannot say. My band-mates play so loudly that I cannot hear any difference. Patches are all the same.
My instruments:
Nord Electro 3 Seventythree (it was)
Nord Electro 5D 73 (it is)
Motif XF 6

Re: Favourite Electric Piano sounds
For me, the best rounded is the Mk V sample. But I like the way the EP1 resonates when you hold down the sustain pedal.
That said, I love the character of the new amped EPs. When I want something very barky and dynamic, I go for the Wurly amped. If you want a Rhodes with a dirty, vintage tone and better velocity, I go for the amped one.
Just my two cents.
