Quick Question

Post by ZeroZero »

I was under the impression that there was more than one B3 emulation in the C2. I can't seem to find this in the manual. If I look up "organ model" I get to choose farfisa, but not different B3 models
Is this possible please?

There is only one B3 model available, but in the Sound menu, section 9, you can choose between 4 different degrees of leakage-crosstalk.
It's basically a "background noise" which was supposed to be a defect, but has become to be known and appreciated as an integral part of the hammond sound.
So you're able to go from a completely clean sound to a more "dirty" one

I was under the impression that the "clean"gave you a greater frequency response compared to the other choices..

"clean" in this context I think means purer, not a greater frequncey response. Rather it is that the component waveforms have less timbre, are more closely related to the sinusoidal pure wave form. IMO
