"Stunning redhead, NS Classic, mature but still full of life, seeks well-specified younger Kronos (version doesn't matter) for fun-filled MIDI recording sessions and, who knows, maybe more".
Just a quick THANKS to everyone for their advice in this thread. After a lot of hard thought, i have decided to keep my Stage Classic 88. This was mostly based on the fact that i have spend so long programing it. However, i think what might happen is i will upgrade when the NS2 is superceded. i do like the idea of having an onboard Sampler and Arpeggiator and i would guess that Nord will keep these on any newer version of the NS2.
Anyway, I took a look at the Nord Keyboards site which has changed quite dramatically since I looked at it last over a year ago.
There used to be a page where you could listen to each and every catagory of samples which are (as you all know) available for the NS2 and Electro models. It had 30 x second (or so) sound clips of all of the individual downloads available. However, I can not seem to be able to locate it any more (the original 'link' I saved is now broken). Has this page(s) now been removed or am I just going blind and totally missing it?
The Nord website was completely revamped last May. The demo mp3s for the Nord Sample Library are all still there. They do not, however, provide sound clips of "all of the individual downloads available," and never did. Generally speaking, they provide demos of 20-25% of the available downloads. A download category containing two dozen samples will have a demo covering 5-7 sounds from that category.
If you're not seeing the demos, you're probably looking at general description pages. Click on the categories in the left column to see specifics and demos.

Oh OK, I see. No wonder I did not recognize the site then if it has been overhauled. I think it was almost 12 x months since I last visited it. And so, considering I was relying on memory, I was quite possibly very wrong about the amount of audio clip demonstrations. Anyway, thank for clearing this up and I will try and take a look now...
