my first post on this board
I recently bought a Nord Lead A1, and have started to program some patches. I'm actually a guitar player so sound design on synthesizers is quite new for me.
In my band we're doing a 90's medley with some old hits, which just need the right sounds... I've got some good sounds, but I'm having a hard time creating the Lead Sound of Snap's "Rhythm is a Dancer".
Maybe someone of you can help, maybe give me some hints (which waveform and so on...) or maybe one of you has a patch that you could share?
I think its hard to get the sound as fat as in the original, still with enough bite, but without beeing harsh...
