Performance question
Hello! Just wanted to know if a performance could act as a "song set" meaning each of the slots with his own sound on the whole keyboard with ability to quick switching among the 4 slots (only one slot active when performance set)? Thanks! Also, has any of you tried routing some of the "organ" presets to specific outs connected to a leslie simulator. I have Electro 3 and am considering getting A1 and wanted to know if I can use the smaller keyboard when going to smaller gigs and having a decent organ sound at my disposal combining A1+Ventilator 2. Thanks again!

Re: Performance question
Hej Progg!
Now I use my A1 when I'm "traveling light", but bring Wurly, Tines and B3 samples an my laptop (MacBook Pro 13"). Works nicely, but next year I'll probably have another solution since I'm a fanatic gearslut.

Yes, I think this sounds like an excellent idea. As I recall, probably already mentioned by Pablo somewhere on this forum.Hello! Re: Performance question
Hi,
Performance Mode on Nord synths is primarily geared to towards creating sounds which are composite layers of 2 or more programs, but certainly it can also be used in this way to "group" programs which one may wish to use for a given song and switch back and forth between them.
Note that this will work great on the keyed synths, but users of rack versions will need to figure out a different plan...
Bless,
Pablo

Re: Performance question
Hi Progg,
Something I neglected to mention and which may not be obvious to you: Nord handles their Performance and Program modes a little differently from the way "the other guys" do. For example, if you construct an M1 Combination containing programs 34, 57 and 83, if you subsequently edit any of the contents of programs 34, 57 and 83, your Combination will change to reflect those edits. On the Nord, Performances include physical copies of the selected programs. This allows the user to edit either the original source programs or the copies of programs within the Performance without affecting the other.
Very smooth...

Re: Performance question
Yes, it's a really useful feature, it makes it much easier to work with performances that constantly have to wonder which other performances will be affected if you make a change to any of the consituent patches.
