I own a Nord Rack 2X and it says Pitch Bend error on startup, additionally If I send midi to more than one channel the Nord, it bends down all channels until I hit the pitch bend of the active midi controller
( I tried with 3 different to make sure it has nothing to do with the controllers, and even without, just receiving midi from ableton).
Just guessing off the top of my head here, but getting a pitch bend error upon boot of an instrument which does not actually have onboard pitch bend is probably a sign that something is configured incorrectly. There is a jumper configuration scheme on the panelboard which tells the waking instrument whether it is a keyed or rack version during the boot process. Perhaps this unit was serviced recently and the panelboard replaced without paying close attention to the jumper setting, or perhaps a solder joint has failed relating to the jumper. Either way, you're going to want to have a tech inspect it.
