Is there a way to use pedals for switching programs?

Hello!
Is there a way to use pedals for switching programs on NL 2x?
There is nothing on that in the manual so I presume it is not possible.
But maybe somebody knows the way around it.

Thank you, Michael. I was thinking maybe there is some way other than Midi. Like a footswitch in stomp boxes, for example where you can scroll through presets.

Still with MIDI but lighter is the Tech21 MIDI Mouse.
