Just bought a brand new Lead 4 keyboard version. Stick worked fine for the first couple of days - now nothing on any patch irregardless of bend range setting.
Any thoughts on an easy user fix. I hate to have to bring it back to the store.

Well, that's what stores are for (i.e. post-sales support), but it could be that the connector to the pitch stick has just slipped off. You'd have to open the case though to get at it which technically I suppose voids the warranty, although it's probably unlikely that they'd be able to see what you've done if you're careful. Not sure how likely it is that that's the problem though given the machines are actually manufactured by dedicated people at the factory in Sweden, rather than produced at the facility with the lowest prices in the Far East.

Hi Mikeka, not sure if this would help, but I would check in the MIDI menu how the Pitch Bend Mode is set, and when sent to Sr (send and receive) then check with a MIDI monitor if the data is being sent out of the MIDI connector. If it is, then you know that the stick is working.
From what Pablo posted before, the cables are soldered in other models I guess it might be the same in the NL4.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. It's not the connector as I've found a way to get it working. If I reboot the synth I can can get it to work at times. Once it's working after a reboot it stays working so to me that eliminates a connector problem. Banging or shifting the unit physically has no effect. I did return the unit to the store today and ended up with different synth. As the old saying goes, "once bitten ....." I do love my other Nords but don't trust the "stick" now.
