Reorganising banks

Post by Stoat »

Is there a way of reorganising banks so that I can copy some over on to another section? What I mean is that when I download the banks from nord, can i merge/organise two of them into one bank as most of them are approx 25 kits (50 to a bank)? It would make life alot easier if we could do this with an external software (Drum manager only allows for bank transfer, not editing?)

many thanks

Not possible, let's hope they include this functionality in a future version of the manager software

So I'm trying to keep my ND2 organised and want to copy a program from one location another. For example 7:25 -> 6:26

I have tried group paste but it either only goes to one channel, or, if I create a new edit group it just copies one sound to all the pads. Is there a way to copy all the sounds over at once? I think this is a pretty important feature to have as I want to be able to reorganise banks by shifting programs around without having to do it each channel at a time - many thanks

An ordinary STORE operation will accomplish this. Navigate to the program you wish to copy/move, initiate STORE procedure, navigate to desired new location, and complete STORE procedure.

Bless,

Pablo

Yes, that's how I rearrange banks:
To copy a program just hit shift+store once, the program number will start blinking, then dial in the desired program location, when you hit the store button again the program is stored on the new location

When you do that directly after editing a program, the edited program will be stored on the new location,.. that's what I do to store some variations of a program

Cheers,
Albert

Edit: Haha..it seems Pablo and I were simultaneously answering your question .. :)
