NORD LEAD 4 CAN'T TRANSPOSE as midi controller?

Hey Guys, Just got my nl4, Im having trouble sending basic transpose out to logic when using the nl4 as a midi keyboard. Than manual says transpose won't be send as misi out even when pressing the octave shift buttons. Surely this can be possible?

Hi Dtray187,

No, it is not possible. Most DAWs do have the ability to handle those sorts of things, but I am not intimately familiar with Logic.

Nords do not transpose the MIDI streams, only the sound generators.

just to add to this...
if you use octave shift no it won't send that. HOWEVER... if you use GLOBAL octave shift, it will transmit the octave shift changes. Just tested and verified with Sonar X2 and NI Massive.

Is there anyone who knows if on the Nord Electro 2 is possible to set Global octave shift function?
I have the same problem with it using the nord as master keyboard.
