I read the manual. Try 2L 2R, or plug a dummy plug into 2L in your present 1L 2R configuration. I suspect the amp is only playing the left channel with your present setup.

I'I tried a Laney AH150 for a while. Did a fair job only, even though it has stereo inputs
Now using a pair of QSC 10's and couldn't be happier. Reasonably small and not too heavy, and do justice to my Stage 2.

Re: HA76 & KC350 bad sound
FOH needs to set your NS2 mix to pan full Left ch1 and full Right ch2 ..... or maybe I've just lost the plot here (sorry, been on the Red Wine again)
edit: replace ch1/2 with line output 1&2 from your Stage2

Ok thanks. Will try that. All I could see in the manual though is outputs 1 & 2 are recommended for stereo use and 3 & 4 are assignableLedbetter wrote:I read the manual. Yes, agree there. Thinking maybe of a pair EV ZX-A1s but not sure of the best placement for band use. I've always used my KC350mal7896 wrote: Now using a pair of QSC 10's and couldn't be happier. Reasonably small and not too heavy, and do justice to my Stage 2.
in a backline position to share the sound. I suppose one could be situated like that and the other angled on the floor to my left (I usually go stage right).

Re: HA76 & KC350 bad sound
I had a pair of KC350s for a while. Never liked the way they sounded -- either alone, or in stereo. I do know that many of the sounds on the Stage 2 are full stereo, and unless they're handled properly, the sound suffers.
If I were you, I'd try a few experiments.
First, try plugging 1L 1R instead of 1L 2R, and see if that helps. Next, I'd try putting the Stage into "mono" mode, and see if that improves your sound. Many people swear by mono. If the 1L 1R thing works for you, you can send stereo to FOH with the phones output, using a converter cable. Or do a local mixdown using a small mixer.
But let's come at it from the other angle. I find the AP, EP and B3 sounds on the Nord are stunningly accurate, and not over-colored. I think they deserve stunningly accurate amplification as well, which would lead you to a self-powered PA unit like the QSC K series or the EV ZLX 12P. It'd make a big difference in your sound. A pair of them would rock your world.

I think I have gear issues ....

I would like to send stereo to FOH and monitor in stereo if mono monitoring's not satisfactory.

Re: HA76 & KC350 bad sound
Have setup the Nord in stereo using a KC350 and a KC150. Output 1 into one amp and output 2 into the other.
Sounds much better. The uprights sound really nice too.
The KC150 doen't have the stereo link so in live use I'm not sure how to run both the Nord and Triton stereo to FOH.
I have the Toa mixer but only has one set of outs which would go the the Roland amps.
The Rec LR phono outs I don't think would be suitable.
Whether I keep the 2 Rolands or get a pair of powered cabs I need a 2 X stereo in/2 X stereo out splitter.
Anybody know of one?

Re: HA76 & KC350 bad sound
In the past I have used a stereo splitter cable from Hosa connected to my headphone output. Companies like ART and Rolls make hardware devices that might be suitable for what you are trying to do.
In regards to the speakers the QSC's should be louder than the Ev's. Although the Ev's may give you a better Piano Sound.
Good luck,

When I suggested the QSC speakers would be louder than the Ev's I'm referring to the EV zxa-1.
