Nord Stage 2 with Sennheiser HD-650

I recently found a good price on some Sennheiser HD-650s, but found it very hard to find out online whether the Nord would be able to drive the 300Ω impedance HD-650s without a headphone amp. I bit the bullet, and bought a pair, and am posting to confirm in case anyone else searches in the future, that the Nord Stage 2 can drive the headphones just fine. I don't even have to exceed 12 o'clock on the master volume setting - i.e. for most of my patches, exceeding 12 o'clock for any period of time would hurt my ears. They sound great. With the headphones I already owned (Sennheiser HD-25 II, Sennheiser EH-2200) I had to use the amp to knock about 6dB off the treble on the pianos, else my ears would begin to hurt, but it doesn't seem necessary with these. (Having said that, I still think the Sennheiser HD-25 IIs are great headphones, and if you are looking for closed headphones for the Nord, I wholeheartedly recommend it).
