Question on split organ

Post by misnjoe »

i noticed that while doing an organ split between two organ drawbar settings on A an B that i can not have the percussion effect on both sections or manuals.. when i go to the lower bassline 838 section and try and add percussion the percussion led's just light up and go right off...the C/V does work ..and the upper manual allows C/V and percussion.. this is not really a big deal for me i guess, but what bothers me is that i dont know if this is normal or is something wrong w/ my board...

Manual page 24:
The percussion can be used on Slot A or on Slot B provided that
both slots are not active at the same time in a layer or split key-
board configuration. If you use a layer or a split, then percussion
will only be available on Slot B.
