Possible NL2XR (or User) Errors

Hi,

I just picked up a used NL2XR, having had a NL2R several years ago. Running into a couple things I can't figure out.

1) NL2XR is giving me a "A.Pr" message when trying to transfer patches from Nordgen on a Windows 8 64 Bit computer. I can transfer patches OK from the NL2XR to Nordgen but not the other way. Nordgen also crashes then. Tried out a few different MIDI-USB cables, all which have been reliable in other uses. I could not find anywhere in the manual or online what "A.Pr" means. Also cannot get NL2XR to receive .mid or .syx dumps using a MIDI-OX or C6.

2) Occasionally when I am programming a patch on the NL2XR the several elements of the sound will suddenly and drastically change character, even though I only made a subtle change on an encoder. Kind of hard to describe. Anyone else experience something like this? Almost like it suddenly received a bunch of CC messages for settings. Only have a really basic MIDI controller hooked up to it, so should only be receiving note data.
