LOCAL control off on nl4, strange
So when I turn the local control off on the nl4, so I can play other vst's , synths... then I go back to the midi output the nl4 is on in logic, The nl4 responds to midi but you cannot even tweak any knobs with out local control on!
That is the strangest , worst idea ever, if in fact I am not overlooking somthing?

just tested this and I have full control of the knobs with local off and echoing through my DAW. Using SONAR X2.

Yep! Not familiar with logic but does it have any midi filtering on its midi echo?

Re: LOCAL control off on nl4, strange
Hi Dtray187,
As Chvad suggested, it would seem that Logic is filtering out those cc commands. There are settings available with which you can limit how the Nord behaves with respect to program changes and continuous controller messages: Send & Receive, Send Only, Receive Only, and off. Factory default is S&R, but you may wish to check in your System Menu to ensure that nothing was inadvertantly changed there.
Turning any knob on the NL4 should transmit cc messages. With Local Off on the NL4 and soft thru enabled in your DAW, that midi data stream should be echoed back to the Nord from the computer.
