Deactivate Layer(s) on NL2X

Post by JayvR »

How can you deactivate a layer in performance mode on the NL2X, when all 4 layers are active?

This seems a very simple question, but I'm not finding any solution rather than putting the gain knob down.
The manual says:

DEACTIVATING
To turn of the layer, press a slot button that is not part of the layer, or press all the buttons that make up
the layer.

This is working, but not when all 4 layers are active. Anyone has a solution?

What happens when you press the three buttons for the slots you want active?

Hi!

Just tried it on my own NL2X;
1. press all four banks -> off
2. press the three you want -> on
the selected bank numbers seemed to stay put.

Hope it will work for you too ...

Ledbetter: pressing three when four are active makes no sense on mine.
