Re: NS2 Wish List: Something missing on the NS2?
Hi Helmuth,
We use sustain pedal to change the rotor speed just to save space and avoid additional pedals. I have NS2SW73 with latest firmware. I have my sustain pedal set to change the rotor speed. No issue anymore. It probably was solved in the latest firmware release.

I'm missing the bellow B3 adjustments that are available in NE3 but not in NS2. I don't understand why Clavia implemented such adjustments in NE3 but not in NS2. Hopefully they can fix it with a new s/w release.

Re: NS2 Wish List: Something missing on the NS2?
They can't go whacking it all in one board, otherwise people would not have difficulty choosing.
As it is, I can't decide whether I'd like a C Organ, an Electro 3 in addition to my Stage EX, or whether I'll wait for the next Stage and see how that stacks up.
If I'm going to pay £3k, I want all of it spot on. I want a synth with samples, I want the best organ simulation with all the bells and whistles, I want to add more memory by opening the back up, I want a suitcase piano tremolo, I want more memory, I want all the glitches ironed out and then I'm good to go. I want a stage that costs £3k to be the best of the C2, Wave, Electro and Piano. £3k deserves it, I'm afraid and unless it hits that, I'll stick with the £2k EX.

More on this:
I see that many of us we're complaining of certain lack of features. By the other side, I know that many of the keyboard users (most of) don't want to bother with complicated menus or features, and they want a quick-start keyboard out of the box.
So my suggestion to Clavia is: why not feature and "expert mode" option in the OS?

Re: NS2 Wish List: Something missing on the NS2?
Hi friends,
Interesting, interesting...
I'm very satisfied with my NS2. ok, at the beginning with the first os I had a lot of midi-problems, but now the most have been fixed. I also understand that every owner want to buy the newest and not a "old" hardware. But especially here with nord, we do have the possibility to upgrade our os and keep our stage "alive". So we really have the newest stage with the exactly same sound and features as the newest hardware you can buy. Honestly, I prefer to have an "old" NS2 (rev. A) because nowbody can buy it and makes it more exklusiv. With the same sound, perfect!
So, what I'm missing?
I miss a feature to switch the arp on and off by morphing.
Sometimes I want to play with that sound as a layer (e.g. Strings) and later (refrain) I need a string arp for that song, but I must change on and off the whole song (strophe/refrain).
I know I could switch the arp on off directly by pressing the button twice (each slot) but to morph the arp on and off is easier und much faster.
Greetings
Helmuth

Re: NS2 Wish List: Something missing on the NS2?
Okay, this sounds a little bit stupid but...... what I love about my Yamaha P250 are the speakers. And when on stage I don't get anything from the speakers BUT I do get that resonance feel on the keybed because of the speakers.
So here's my idea. No, ofcourse no speakers. It makes it way too heavy. But maybe something like a resonance simulator that creates that slighty light vibe onto the keys. Great idea isn't it??? What do you guys think of it?

Re: NS2 Wish List: Something missing on the NS2?
Would be nice to have a possibility to make MIDI settings program specific. It would add additional flexibility for set-up with external MIDI keyboard.
I have NS2 SW73 and I plan to get weighted or semi-weighted MIDI board to control Piano section mainly. I plan to use NS2 SW73 to control B3 and Synth engines primarily.
Here is how I would suggest to use such setup. But that would require program specific MIDI settings option available in NS2: You may want to set Piano section for MIDI ch 1 and use your external MIDI board to control Piano section. In the mean time you can use NS2 for B3 sounds. It might be needed to change control on Synth section between NS2 and external MIDI board depending on the program (if you use layered sounds you need both Synth and Piano engines to be controlled by my external MIDI board, But if you play lead synth sounds you may wont it to be controlled only by NS2 keyboard.)
That was just one example of what can be done if there would be possibility to make MIDI set-up program specific. I hope Clavia would add such functionality to the coming OS release.

What do you think of adding a Bass Shaker to your stand?NordFan wrote:Okay, this sounds a little bit stupid but...... what I love about my Yamaha P250 are the speakers. And when on stage I don't get anything from the speakers BUT I do get that resonance feel on the keybed because of the speakers.

Haven't tried it yet and don't know if it would be too much or making some strange noises.
But this would be a possibility to deal with this.
Fischer-Amps is selling those devices ie. http://fischer-amps.de/en/in-ear-monito ... dukte.html.
New in their products there is a homecinema-shaker for laying under the feets of your couch. This one shouldn't be too noisy and it would be kind of plug&play.
Look on amazon for this one (I'm from germany, don't know if it is yet available in your country but you always can contact fischer-amps directly) ButtKicker-Homecinema

Re: NS2 Wish List: Something missing on the NS2?
Hi all. I have had my NS2 SW73 now for 3 days and I would also like the earlier mentioned additional Organ settings:
I have already put the leslie-acceleration on slow (where it belongs) in the menu so this is not the cause of my slight dislike.
I really hope Clavia decides to include all these organ features. It would be greatly apreciated.
But another thing is that Clavia with the Nord C2 made a new Rotary speaker simulation(leslie) in addition to the other (so it had two to choose from). But in the NS2 it seems they only included the new one. I would really like the old model as well. I haven't made up my mind completely yet, but I am feeling that the new leslie model is lacking abit when speeding up/down and when set on fast speed. When on slow or stopped it sounds amazing though.Treble Horn Speed
