Hi,
just got my brand new NL4, played arround with it - wow, love it!
Now, has anybody stumbled accross any tutorials or tips on building beats (is there any easy way)?

My tip:
Build drums using oscillator 2 in KBT OFF mode and set the voice to mono.
Use the arpeggiator to trigger a pattern of choice.
Set MasterClock sync on both arpeggiator and delay and using the delay, you can adjust how the arpeggiated pattern will sit against another element.
Set up different slots for different sounds.

Also note that it is possible to shift an arpeggiated part away from the downbeat by:
1) using delay (not clock-synced)
2) setting delay to 100% wet (no dry signal)
3) controlling offset by delay rate knob
this expands possibilities greatly, makes patterns more versatile
