Hello,
I just picked up an iPad Air and I've been installing soft synths on it. I have a Electro 4HP with a USB port that I run, via the Apple Camera Kit, into the iPad and it plays the soft synth sounds from it's keyboard.
I also have a NP88 but when do the same connection from it's USB port into the iPad,I can't get the sound to play.
Does the NP88 not send MIDI data through it's USB port or am I not configuring it properly in the System menu?
Thanks

Re: NP88 and iPad Connection
Hi Byron,
It's not the System Menu where that happens, but the Midi Menu. The NP88 was Nord's first instrument with midi-over-USB capability, but the default factory setting directs midi output to the midi port, not the USB port -- it can only do one at a time.

Re: NP88 and iPad Connection
Thanks Pablo.
I don't have the piano in front of me but it looks like from page 16 in the NP88 manual I can change the MIDI output to use USB by turning it On under MIDI Channel. I'll try it when I get home.
