The Nord Piano wishlist
Re: The Nord Piano wishlist
More space between the keys and the control panel's lower buttons. Sometimes, while playing, I accidentally hit some of the ON/OFF buttons. Mostly the delay and effects 2. I know this happens because of my poor technique. Still, I'd like one inch of extra space.

Re: The Nord Piano wishlist
Would that leave space for extra pianos? Of course they would not sound as good as the stereo ones, but in cases where the PA available is mono anyway, then having an extra piano or two would be an nice advantage.

Yes,
and a mono sound is a thankful sound for mixing. Pan it right, reverb it left - there you are.
Stereoimages can produce phasing issues when reducing it to more mono. Too much stereo
often brings a little weirdness.

What about the Mono Button:dynanord wrote:PLEASE:
A dedicated MONO PIANO !!!

Mono Output
If you press Shift + Kbd Touch, the stereo sound will be played back in mono instead. Connect the L or the R output on the Nord Piano 2 to an input on the sound system you wish to use.

Yay,
I know this function, hit me if I´m wrong but I guess it´s not true mono -
the signal seems to leak punch and directness when I act this way.
Like the C2´s church organ, you lose loudness of several panned notes when you plug it mono.

Mono button mixes the two outputs. What is being suggested is for Clavia to offer Mono versions of the pianos as they would probably take less space in the instrument thus allowing to load a larger variety.tomzi wrote:What about the Mono Button:
