NP 2 HP Sustain on split and Midi Send

Hello all,

I'm thinking about picking an NP2 HP for the lightweight gigging board. I have a couple of issues I want to make sure I am clear on. From reading the manual, it appears the boards sends on only a single midi channel. Is that correct? Also, when in split mode, I know that with the triple pedal you can use the sostenuto pedal to sustain or kill the sustain on the synth split, while using the sustain pedal for the piano split. Since I'm thinking about getting the HP and since it doesn't come with the triple pedal is there a way to disable sustain on the Synth side?
