Midi Setup For Controller

Post by brassclass »

I just received an Electro 4D on trial. Becase it's only a 61 key unit, I am trying to midi it to my Kurzweil K2500XS which is an 88 key and us it to control the 4D sounds. have limited knowledge of midi. If someone can give me step by step instructions on how to do this it would be greatly appreciated!

Additional info - The 4d is not showing active in my Motu MicroLite Midi interface. Other keyboards and my Roland V-Drums do but not the 4D. What setting do I need to change to make it active? Thanks!

I have resolved this issue. Problem was my midi interface setting was set to USB midi and not midi ports.

Have fun. You'll soon see that the Leslie effect can be changed from slow to fast and back again with the modulation controller. Very convenient, IMHO.
