New Nord Piano 2 HP in transit, excited!

Post by rob556 »

Hi all - been reading this forum for a few weeks while deciding if Nord was for me, and yesterday I got a notification that my new Nord Piano 2 HP (73-key) is with the courier :) Very excited.

Any tips for a first-time Nord user? I previously owned a Korg SV-1 and had it repaired and replaced four times. I recorded a bunch of videos for the Korg technicians showing what seems to be an inherent keybed issue resulting in overly-bouncy keys and thus duplicate MIDI notes. After that, I was done and came over to the red side :D

Welcome to the red/right side! Hope you will enjoy your red beast at lest half of what I do my trio ... don't even look at my guitars any more ...
Sometimes I think of swapping my P88 + E3HP for a new P2HP (Never used the organs on a gig). You probably did the right thing at once - congrats!
