nord lead 2x - manual mode problem

hello, i have a problem with the manaul mode.

No matter in which mode i am. performence or program mode, when i have more than one slot active and change into manual mode i hear the other slots too when i play.
the most leftone is in manual mode but every other slot i activated before i change into manual mode i also hear in manual mode.

for example: I am in prog mode and activate slot a b and c and then change into manual mode then i hear slot a in manual mode but slot b and c too.

is that normal, any ideas.
i would try to play os into the nord lead again. maybe that helps,
does anyone have that os?

Hi,

I checked this (because I normally do not use the Manual Mode) at my NL2X: It's the same!

If one slot is activated, the Manual Mode works "normal", if there are 2 or more slots activated, all slots can be heard.

And the user manual says on page 22: "In Manual mode, the instrument can play only one sound - layering is not possible."

Beside that: There is only OS-version 1.0 for the NL2X!

Weird indeed.

I seem to remember my NL2X had firmware version 1.02. Not sure if I remembered that correctly though. Also, I don't think the firmware on the NL2X is user-upgradable.

Hi,

I can't check it out on the NordRack1, because it probably has a broken DA converter.
Maybe it was only on the NordRack1, just like the problematic 'left most Slot Midi' thingy, which stayed in the Manual all the time.

Anyway, it surely isn't obstructing working with the synth, like a broken DA converter?
