Hello
i am about to place an order for an QSC monitor
and im between these: K8, K10 and K12
the thing is that they only have K12 in stock so i was wondering if K12 is the right choice
i have a nord stage 88 and a Hammond XK3C pro system, im playing in a blues/rock band
please share your opinions

I don't know exactly if he's got that on stage during big gigs.
I have tried the K10 and it was too big for me, but I do small gigs.
I think you can't go wrong with 2 K10.
Maybe you can have a look at Yamaha DXR Serie too.

Re: QSC K8, K10 OR K12
I think overall for sound, size and weight, the K10 is killer. Plenty of Bass, lighter than K12, read Keyboard Magazines shootout. The reviewer liked the K10 the best as well. I have also used the K8 on a small gig, and if you don't need a huge bass response, it will work fine as well.

Re: QSC K8, K10 OR K12
I have two KW153 for my keys and the sound is great, the bass is incredible.
I'm gathering money for two KW181 to use with them in our rehearsal room.
But I won't be using them in gigs...(181)
Cause our soundman will have problem
to deal with them....

Re: QSC K8, K10 OR K12
I still have a Jbl eon G2. I bought a K10 which has the same tweeter and amp as the K8 & K12.
The K10 will work in almost any but the very loudest bands. Ergonomic
Handle on side + it's about 10 lbs lighter than the K12. Dispersion characteristic variations are due to woofer size.
The only thing I don't care for is the sub roll-off switch cuts a tad too much bass when using as a standalone monitor.
Wish it had (3) 1/4 inch inputs. Smallest, loudest speaker I have found to date.
