Step sequencer for Mac?

I'd like to sequence my Nord Drum... The iPad app seems nice, but i don't have an iPad and i'd love to have midi-sync support..
As simple as possible, preferably stand alone but VST or AU works fine..

I'd like it to sequence it with software and then sync it to my TR-808.. hehe

Any suggestions?
