Voltage Stabilizer - Nord Stage 2

Post by dperuzza »

I'm having problems with my nord, where a more acute oscillation of electric power, the nord can not hold and restart the system, as I hung up and would link soon after.

A voltage stabilizer, similar to those used in PC, this would solve the problem or stabilizer can cause some damage in the nord?

You need to find out what sort of voltage problem you are getting and compare that to the specifications of the stabilizers. I do not well enough about this, but there are spike filters (just very fast transients, tend to be cheap, many people say that they are useless) and uninterrupted power supplies (UPS) which might be useful when the voltage drops for longer times than spikes (these tend to be more expensive).
I do not think that any of these would damage the synth (after all computers are also very sensitive equipment), but asking Clavia for advice might be a good idea.
