This eBay seller 'studioonetwentyfour' is using the same pictures of 1 x mint condition item to sell multiple items as 'new/like new/ mint. I purchased one of these from him last week. it arrived with a damaged modulation wheel, scratches on the back of the unit (one through the paint), and also a damaged multi-filter switch.
Here are several Nord Lead 3 synthesizers that he has sold in the last 6 months - all using the same pics.
Ebay items:
230890337907
330856003809
230920449865
He told me that he purchased all of these new for his 'studio', yet I was able to match the serial number to a Nord Lead 3 that he purchased off of ebay less than 30 days ago! You can clearly see the scratches to the rear of the unit.
Here is that unit listing:

I thought that Ebay had a system to ensure quality of the sellers, through user's feedback. Have you reported this to them?
My best memories are those I can't remember

Re: Avoid this eBay seller of Nord products!
I reported him yesterday. I have a feeling eBay won't take action, since eBay keeps its own library of archived product photos. Maybe they figure that if they can do it anyone can? The transaction shows-up in my PayPal history (with the ebay item number), but not in eBay? eBay reply; "...there was a glitch in the system at the time of purchase."
I don't have a problem with using archived photos 'with an attachment' that states the true condition of the item. As long as there is a return option, I'm good with it. But don't tell me an item is 'minty fresh/as good as new' when it is not! I don't mind addressing issues as long as I know what I'm dealing with before I make the purchase. He offered a 15 day return option in the listing, yet he refused to honor it!
This led to filing a dispute - which I won.
