I downloaded some great sounds from this forum. Unfortunately all of them don't work on my Stage 2.
I use the Nord Sound Manager and open the Program-list then I drag & drop the .ns2p-sound from my Mac.
So far it seems to work but when I get the massage download successful I can´t find the sound anywhere, not on
my Stage and nowhere in the Sound Manager.
Ok first up, make sure you have space on your board. Out of the box, all 400 registrations are occupied so there is nowhere for additional programs to reside. Quite helpfully, bank D is a duplication of bank A so you can safely bin programs from D to make space for your new ones.
Once you've created some space, you can click the "Sound Down" button in the sound manager and browse for your .ns2p file. The program will be downloaded to the first empty registration.
The only other thing to note here is if you happen to have the same registration selected on your stage as is used for the program's target, you will need to re-select that program to get at it (just shuttle up and back down again).

The problem is then that you must have a free Program location to load the new .ns2p in. Better avoid the drag and drop and use the nord Sound Manager menus instead.

Thanks Darren for answering my question about downloading programs to the Stage 2!
I´ve been away for a week so today I tried this again. Unfortunately it still does not work.
The following message appears in Sound Manager (on left side, at the bottom of the frame):
"CRpyFileInfo failed: Not found (1)"
and just a few seconds later this message appears at the same spot:
"Download completed successfully."
But I can't find the program anywhere and the number of programs ???/400 in the program bank does not increase.
I am running the Stage 2 on the latest OS and the latest version of Sound Manager.
Just a shot in the dark. Try renaming the %20 for a " " space, or removing the spaces (i.e. the "%20" in the file name.
I assume that you also got the latest version of the program and the firmware?
