What do you expect to see Nord release at NAMM?
Re: What do you expect to see Nord release at NAMM?
So, another new upright. Awesome. Just really needed one of those. I wonder what it could be, a straight strung "Moon & Sons" from Plymouth. Take me right back to my childhood. Possibly a bit in need of a tune as well.
So, next release a Wave 2. Then cue them releasing lots of multi layer samples (which the wave will have) then releasing the Stage 2EX with a lot more memory and not much else (single layer samples). Then following that and even more multi-layer samples, they will release the first batch of new electric piano. Probably a Tobacco Stain EP200 wurlitzer, meticulously sampled note for note by our Swiss Professor Sampelenhausen and bought to you in 3 sizes. XL XXL and XXXL. Stage 2 owners will go "*&^%*&!!!! That's bigger than the XXL superduper italian grand, how will I make more fit". Then the Electro 4ML will be released, which will have more memory and use some of the multi-layered samples. Then we'll see Stevie Wonders very own D6 Clavinet done again by Professor Sampelenhausen and that will be in the same XL, XXL or XXXL format, but the file sizes will be bigger. It will not be possible to fit 2 decent grands, and upright and an more than one of the new EP's on the Stage 2. Then there will be more multilayered sample treats followed by the first of the new Rhodes. Herbie Hancocks 1973 Head Hunters suitcase piano, out of a museum, XXXL, XXXXL and XXXXXXXXL sizes. Then we'll have Chick Corea's Stage 88 in a similar size. These will fit into the 2EX pretty well.....
and just when the 2EX lot were really really really really smug. The 3 will be released, which will have the multilayered sample feature!

There is a kind of Clavia rule...
Stage piano's etc are introduced on NAMM, Synths on Frankfurt.
Just wait and see...
