External program change

Is anyone having problems with assigning prog change to external modules? I've been struggling with this for hours now. Whenever I set up program changes to my external module (Korg X5DR) the stage will only send in chronological order regardless of what program number I set in the External Menu. What i mean is if I press button 1 Page 1 I will have prog 1 on my module, If I press button 2 I will get program 2 and so on , But if I assign button 2 to program 4 on my module it will default back to program 2. ( The module does go to 4 when I turn the value dial . I then save the changes but when I go back and press 2 again I get program 2 instead of 4.This can't be a bug I'm probably missing something here or just being dumb, Helppp

I just come across another issue with my external section . According to the manual when the external button is not on there should be nothing being transmitted, but when I press the external button to off I still get sound from my external module. Anybody have any ideas?

Ok just to let all know I got the issue with the external switch straightened out (in the midi menu you must set midi panel A and midi panel B midi channels to off). I am getting closer to getting the external prog change sorted out!!!!

Hi, i have many problems to setp Program Changes to External section.. i mean my Nord Stage does't send any MIDI signal to External module. I've tried with Korg Triton, Yamaha Q100, and Yamaha S90 ES..nothing at all !!! My desire is change programs in External module without playing it on Nord Stage's keyboard. How i can put MIDI parameters for external function ?
