Does it mean it's now possible to choose between different velocity curves as with NS compact?

If You mean corrections in new NE3 OS update v3.04 then the answer is NO. They did not implement any new functionality in NE3, they only fixed bug which ignored velocity curves included in sound from piano sound library so for each piano sound NE3 used "some default" velocity curve (I do not know which one it was but it sounds bad). This fix makes enough for me, so now I can use piano sounds from NE3.
