The Wandering Triple Pedal
The Nord 88 piano comes with a sturdy triple pedal. On the backside of the pedal are four tiny (@1 cm square) rubberized tabs. The pedal wanders aimlessly backwards during play. I've tried placing a rubber mat underneath without success. Both slide back. How have you solved the wandering pedal syndrome? Taping or using screws is not an acceptable solution.

Re: The Wandering Triple Pedal
hi Emeritus.
why not try a larger rubber mat so you can rest your right foot heel on it? that would prevent the mat and pedal from slipping away....

Re: The Wandering Triple Pedal
Thank you Henrik. It is a good suggestion. I just purchased a bubble backed clear bath mat (from Walmart in the USA) that just might work. The bubbles are little suction cups that should adhere to the floor securely. The length of the mat is approximately 2.5 feet--long enough to enable my right heel to rest on it. Should the triple pedal still slide on top, I will secure it to be mat with long cable ties through the mat. I think this should solve the problem. Thank you again.

Re: The Wandering Triple Pedal
The thing I'm planning to do is having a small carpet similar to a drum rug to stand my gear on. Especially useful if you're using more than one pedal, plus it looks good if every intrument marks its territory with a carpet ;)
