pa speaker or keyboard amp for c1, any recommendation?
Hello guys.
I've been using Peavey keyboard amp, heavy, cheaper than roland one so I chose this, for 3 years now.
Now I got C1 and getting in to hammond organ more and more I want to invest 500$ to new amp or pa system.
Problem is I don't have a car, so always I have to buy not too big one! I have to carry around boston with dolly...
will mostly use this with Electro 3 (fender rhodes sound) and C1.
Thanks!

I second this. The HK Nano 300 sounds great while it's very light and small.flmc59 wrote:Test the HK nano 300

flmc59, that would be too much to carry everything.. thanks tho!
If I grab Doepfer D3m, I would've get good leslie sim through it, but since I chose nord C1, I want it to be more portable.
hard decision to make.
probably I'll go with Neo Ventilator, if any online store do thanksgiving sale. or I'll wait till christmas. Maybe Santa be with me

I've got to say that Peavey Keyboard amps give me a very unsatisfactory organ sound. And they are heavey.

yeah Mooser I agree. I bought it more than 2years now, I've been using it for many gigs, rehearsals.. I was going to buy pa system or better keyboard amp but at the same time I want better leslie sound so I might buy Neo Ventilator first and then upgrade amp.

Re: pa speaker or keyboard amp for c1, any recommendation?
I have just bought a couple of these: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/B208D/
They are very small, portable and CHEAP!! I have used them in two rehearsals and one gig. They sound great, but past half volume the specs say they are only recommended for mics. Still half volume is more than enough. This gig: was with those speakers, sax, trumpet and keyboards ran through a Mackie Mixer and then to the Speakers.
BUT the bad thing is that behringer has a reputation of things failing after the warranty, so maybe they dont last much. But I haven't found anything like that locally.
Saludos,
Gustavo
