Thomann has it for 200 euro even less:

A shop I often buy stuff from (and which generally has good prices) is still asking 2399 for it.
I don't think these prices will last long, if they even have multiple units. Seems like their liquidating old stock.

Re: Nord C2 for 1800Euro
seems that it is going to be discontinued? Perhaps they bring something with piano and other sounds inside to compete with the SK-2.

When I look on Sweetwater and Musician's Friend, I don't even see the C2 as available anymore. I suspect it has already been disco'd in the US.

If you use the other organ models (vox, farf, pipe) a lot, the C-2 may have some advantages over a C2D. But for many, the full set of real drawbars and the B-3 model is the main consideration. The C2D is magnificent. The top of my C2 looks so bare by comparison!

I was alway curious why you would want piano sounds on an organ keyboard. Just my opinion however. I think they have covered that niche with the Stage, Electro series. Personally I only need B3 in my organ.JoeCool wrote:seems that it is going to be discontinued? Perhaps they bring something with piano and other sounds inside to compete with the SK-2.

Re: Nord C2 for 1800Euro
The simple answer is that they are keyboard players as oposed to organ players. I have a yamaha motif rack for piano sounds. I almost never use it. I am an organ player.
For me the organ is the challenge. Having an organ sound line a piano is like having a sax sound on a trumpet.
My desire is to see my Nord c2d as an organ. And try to master it out of that perspective.
