Re: Stand for C2
If it works with pedals is perhaps dependent on how far the middle section potruds down in the middle when it is pulled apart.

Re: Stand for C2
For pedal use I'd generally pick the 18950/18953 over the GVI. I think it could work with a 13 to 17 note board, but I'm not sure, definetly no chance with a 25 though.

Re: Stand for C2
The first prototype is nearing its completion.
As you can se it should have been 15 cm deeper and probably two higher
The sides are attaches with magnetic locks. Standard closet type.

Re: Stand for C2
I made new sides that where just a bit longer. I think I can live with the fact that the legs are not in the corners.

Re: Stand for C2
Added a block to the left of the C2d.
Gives a bigger impression The fron of the block will get a piece of wood.
The material is black dyed 3 mm mfd glued to 6 cm of styrofoam. I like this combination. Lots of volume no wheight.
The styrofoam is the dyed to and covered with epoxy with or without glasfiber fabric.
Blackdyed mfd painted with epoxy gives a very hard surface.

Re: Stand for C2
I use both K&M 18953 and the 18950. They are great!!!
One for my Nord Stage 2 and the other one for my Hammond Sk2 (same size as C2).

Re: Stand for C2
I got the table-style stand, and this is what I did to make it work better:
First, I applied HD velcro (2"x12"x2) to the stand and organ, so they are firmly attached. People always trip or stumble on stages.
Second, I cut a piece of very nice oak plywood into a rectangle a bit bigger than the span of the legs. The leveling screw-feet removed from the legs, the legs now bolt to the plywood "sled", and the pedals (Hammond XPK 200) sits on the sled.
Minimum foorprint, very stable. The disadavatage of course, is the time and complication of bolting the thing together, instead of just unfolding the stand and putting the organ on it. But I've seen too many keyboards knocked off of stands they just sit on, and entire stands knocked over by a small bump or pulled over by somebody tripping on a cord.
If there is a lack of stability in your stand, flmc, or if it is top-heavy find a way to use the weight of the pedal board to contribute to the stability by tieing the pedals to the stand.
