Thanks for the tests & good news.

Firefox 9.01 under Win7 opens the mp3 file.
Safari 5.1.2 under Win7 opens the mp3 file.
Internet Explore 8.0.76 under Win7 opens the mp3 file.

Hmm this is not nice, I tried IE9 on Win7 and IE8 on XP and both work fine. Firefox 14.1 on XP works once I install flash.

With Firefox 13.0.1 it works (I will update to 14.0.1 later).
I have the addon Flashblock installed - and in order to use the mp3 player, I must click the symbol ordered by the Flashblock addon. The symbol is unfortunately completely down on the side instead of in the proximity of the player...
If I do not click the symbol the player ask me to download the mp3 file.
At the moment I think that the old design was better...
But thanks for your effords with care of the Internet site.

I checked the flashblock thing, and installed some workaround proposed, though not 100% working. Tried it with flashblock in FF and seemed to work fine for me.

Older browsers seem to download rather playback some times. But at least it works to allow downloading the file!

I agree the old design was maybe more player like etc., but the new one would be much faster and compatible. Animations with html5 are (still) a mess. Still fiddling with the CSS.

UPDATE: I increases the size and changed the orientation slightly, also improves the design in the IE.
I guess this will be it, so please comment if you still have problems! or vote on the poll!

OK I added a container for the flashblock logo right above the navigation line. This way it shouldnt affect the players. Obviously, if you block it, the mp3 file will be downloaded instead of played back. Hope it works OK like this.

Thanks for taking the time to contribute to improving compatibility, and a special to Mathijs a.k.a. mjbrands for changing all the existing posts' players using some clever lines of code

Post here if you still have problems, at least it should now work on whatever new gadget Apple is bringing to us
